The JFK Archives

Few would disagree that the tragic and early death of President John F. Kennedy was one of the most significant events of modern history. For decades countless people have examined and questioned the circumstances and motivation for the assassination.

Later this week the US National Archives will be required to declassify an additional 3000 never before seen documents relating to the investigation into JFK's death. This will undoubtedly be met with feverish interest and examination from those still searching for the truth.

The upcoming events of this week also served as inspiration for us to share some of our favourite art pieces featuring JFK and there are many to choose from, few subjects are as instantly recognisable and iconic as JFK.

Cryptid creations - By Piper Thibodeau 

Over five years ago Canadian artist Piper Thibodeau began a daily digital painting project. More than 1000 paintings later, and counting, Piper's creations have been published in her first book Daily Paintings.

Piper's creations are vibrant and endlessly inventive characters are a true testament to her talent, even more so when  one remembers that she still creates one painting everyday.
